Not sure what it looks like from back or sides, but it was nice to be safe against the sort of draughts a smock is often prone to.</p> <p>Question: Is the horizontal line of sleeves and waist at the same level too distracting?</p> <p>I wore this on the eve of the Solstice (21 December) and liked it enough to intend to repeat it on New Year's Day, now that I've finally got the jeans hemmed. Alas, it has been this city's coldest day in 44 years --- NOT appropriate for a smock and a shawl thrown on top!
