I think both versions work nicely, but rather like the more laid back feel with it untucked. If you want to semi-tuck those shorter split hi-low tops, you can tuck the entire front and include the front half of the split, and then roll the hem slightly at the split so it curls downward (not sure I'm explaining this well at all...). It'll net you a nice semi-circle look. Something like #1 on the right; on the left you can see it untucked. This type of hem also works realllyyyy well with a diagonal-style side tuck (#2)!

Hi Viva,
I prefer it untucked - I think the proportions are better. Great fall combo!

I actually like it better untucked. Tucked in, there is more stripe showing , and the proportion is then a little off. I love it with the burgundy t top - really nice look for fall!

I like it tucked! It looks good untucked also. Great shoes too!

Such a gorgeous color combo! And I love how your shoes bookend your jacket and also subtly imitate the stripes on your skirt. I don't mind the untucked top at all. 10/10 in my books.

I think it looks great as it is. You could of course try tucking it, but it seems to defeat the purpose of the comfort of that skirt and it may be too bulky. I also think the blazer looks great. I feel like I am constantly between two sizes too so I understand the question. I always go for the size up these days.

I promise not to bombard with WIWs every day! Especially since, with work travel, I can only respond in a limited way to others' posts. But it is so nice to be dressing again and your feedback is really helpful.

I so love this jacket! It seems to have the perfect amount of stretch to (1) keep the scrunch up and (2) keep from wrinkling, both of which are so helpful. I have a sneaky suspicion I should have bought a size smaller but I can live with this size. (I live between sizes!!!)

Here it is with a Loft tee and the VC skirt. My dilemma: I cannot successfully semituck because of the short hi-lo vent in the tee. Does it look bad just hanging there? Would you have gone for a full tuck?

ETA: added pic with full tuck

Thanks!
