Thanks you all!

We're recovering from getting our (respiratory) flu virus immunities the hard way.

Sveta, love the idea of the semi-tuck in the second outfit - will make note of that. And a white shirt with a collar is definitely on my "wants" list

:)

Glad to hear you are on the mend. When I was sick in December I spent all week in PJs and it was so nice to go back to really dressing after that!
I think both of these outfits have potential. The shirt is OK in length IMO but it would look better if it had a collar I think. Collar adds more structure to this look! Also if the shirt has long sleeves you can get cuffs to peek from under the sweater sleeves.
For the second outfit I would remove the scarf and maybe try a semi-tuck with the sweater if it is not too bulky. I think the red jeans are fab!

I see what you're saying about the length of your white shirt in #1, but I still really like both of these. The red jeans look great from here! Hope you continue to feel better.

I like both of these. Good colors and good proportions.

Both looks are great and perfect choices for a "getting back on your feet day." #1 is my favorite --- so light, colorful and simple. The shoes are terrific!

Love the cozy sweater in #2. What about scrunched sleeves?

I actually like #1 quite a bit! And I think the red color on the jeans is actually pretty cool.

Trying to get back in the saddle of life today. I actually got dressed - that's a start, right?

#1 was inspired by Catherine. http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....y-thanks-1
#2 was my attempt to get dressed once last week.

I'm not really sure that either of these work - in #1, I wish the white was longer and my jeans darker. In #2 - I'm not excited about the color that these jeans turned out from the dye bath (the photo shows it pretty well - it's a light red - not a burgundy like I wanted).

What are your suggestions?

And Happy New Year everyone! Thanks for helping me learn to dress myself well!
