Angie-Thanks!  Work has me dressing up more than in the past, and it's been a challenge to find trousers that are flattering.  Especially since I prefer bootcut and flairs for business style trousers.  The skinny jean style has definitely overflowed into business wear bottoms. Shevia and AM and Karie-Thanks!  The shawl and blazer are my two favorite pieces right now. Laura-Thanks!  One of my favorite things about blazers, they instantly make an outfit feel more polished to me.  Especially with jeans.  It's a go to formula for me at work. Ruth M-Thanks! Suz-Thanks!  The idea to pair the blazer with the Theory jumper is a great suggestion!  The jumper is too bulky for the blazer, but I'm adding a lighter weight knit to my list for next year.   Isabel-Thanks!  I'm a big fan of blazers dressing up jeans, I feel like it makes an outfit look more polished and I'm happy to hear that vibe is showing in my outfits. CocoLion-*waving*  It's nice to be posting again (or at least trying to keep up with it).  I agree, I think the bootcut jeans I have now WERE straights at one point.  I don't really see 'bootcuts' often anymore.  In fact, out of my two pairs of cowboy boots, only one fits underneath my 'bootcut' jeans anymore without showing a bulge. Retailgirl-Thanks!  BB still makes some of the best quality clothing around, at least that I've been able to find in my area lately.   Jackiec-Thanks!  I'm a big fan of blues and the cranberry blazers pairs perfectly with blue! Tanya-Thanks!  I adore the drapey vibe of the cape.  It's a fun change of pace from blazers for layering.  You would ROCK a cape! Diana-Thanks!  I know the warmer weather is coming, but it's been one heck of a winter! Rachylou-Thanks!  If you try out Abeo I'd be curious to hear if they work for you.  I've been sporting heels often lately for work and very pleased with them since I have problematic feet (and after having foot surgery I will NOT bend of the footwear comfort). I love #4.  You wear a slim fit turtleneck like a model.  This is a great look for you with the narrow boot cut jeans (didn't this cut used to be called straight?).  It's a subtle but head-turning look for you. And I love shawls/capes/ponchos, what a great thing to bring back from the UK, it's beautiful on you. The first thing I noticed about #2 is how great everything fits on you.  The pants are perfect.  And I like their higher rise.
