Having said that,&nbsp;it took me some time to figure out which brands work for me in practice (I lived in the UK prior to moving to Germany)&nbsp;- e.g. some brands consider going as long as 33 inch inseam as tall/long range, while my inseams must begin at 36 inches at least... But, at least I know now. And I'll be happy to share my learning any time you want to travel to the UK. Some might even have international deliveries and even with risking high return shipping rates&nbsp;I will give them a chance in the future.</p> <p><b>Joy</b> :: I'm very glad&nbsp;the striped skirt provided the answer you were after. Good luck in your search, I must say I am really surprised just how great this skirt feels.</p> <p><b>Suz</b> :: I think we share a love for many things and not just turtlenecks - which genuinely amuses and thrills me. In a way I feel like your style twin. Plus, it was something you and Claire wrote around the same time which really opened up my eyes to what kind of collars work for me - which diverted many shopping mistakes. More on that in the future (I hope).<br />As for lining, none of these skirts are lined. I'm on the lookout for the slip that would work with them - because with some&nbsp;ponte skirts which are on the knee there is clinging issue with some tights. I think it's the combination of movement and fluffiness of the tights, if it makes any sense.<br />The longest of the skirts does not have that problem, maybe because it's long enough not to slide over the knee cap as I move.</p> <p><b>Lisa</b> :: you are spot on. I was not overwhelmed - and yet there was so much choice! And I actually even returned one of the skirts I also ordered - navy skirt. I figured out I have bought more than enough and no matter how it sounded as great basic and it was on some offer, in reality I'd get to wear it rarely - so back it went.
