But I have long toes and I feel they look weird in peep toes. &nbsp; &nbsp;The shoes are in the donation bag (again) as I type this, and this time I really mean it. &nbsp;(I think). </p> <p>4 - &nbsp;I wore this to a band rehearsal. &nbsp;Liverpool plaid pants, Calvin Klein top, Anne Taylor belt, &nbsp;and a leather jacket I bought in 1999 (!)</p> <p>5 - Levi’s, WHBM cardigan, Orla Kiely bag, Nine West slingbacks, and The Belt of Mystery. &nbsp;The scarf makes my heart sing, because it’s silk, and has a baroque-ish celestial/nautical print.</p> <p>6 - Levi’s wedgies, old nautical tee, espadrilles. &nbsp;I am planning to patch these jeans using Japanese sashiko technique. &nbsp;</p> <p> </div><div><br /></div><div>7 - same as #1, with a Tahari jacket and Börn boots&nbsp; </p> <p>8 - Halloween Part One. &nbsp;Frenchie, from Grease. &nbsp;Target skirt, 80s pumps, vintage French top, Amazon jacket + wig + scarf.</p> <p>9 - a Ralph Lauren inspired look that contains no actual RL.</p> <p>10 - a very warm, very vintage Vanity Fair dressing gown and nightgown.</p> <p>11-13 - Halloween Part 2, with a Lands End grandpa sweater, Liz Claiborne belt, and Joan Rivers crystal spider brooch. &nbsp;This outfit was inspired by an actual event, involving a day of raking fall leaves, and a real spider. &nbsp;And half a dozen good neighbors who came running outside in response to my shrieks.</p> <p>14-15 &nbsp;Another RL inspired outfit. &nbsp;This is one outfit I wasn’t happy with. &nbsp;The sweater is mockneck and with the scarf, kind of drove me nuts. &nbsp;The pants are tweedy wool, Banana Republic, but they looked more tan in the store. &nbsp;Overall, this outfit felt chunky and stifling. &nbsp;I’m going to wear a button-down next time. &nbsp; I may also re-dye the trousers to a richer color.&nbsp;</p> <p> </div><div><br /></div><div>16-17 &nbsp;RL jeans, Vince sweater, no-name scarf. &nbsp;I wore this to see my friend’s outdoor jazz show. &nbsp;I got a lot of compliments from assorted Gen Z kids. &nbsp;I also spilled teriyaki sauce on the sweater, so the scarf came in handy to cover the wet soap spot. &nbsp;Keepin’ it real, friends. </p> <p>18 - my favorite yoga teacher gifted me her turquoise prayer beads, so I made an outfit around it with my leather joggers, old Theory sweater, black bodysuit and Loeffler Randall wedges.</p> <p>19 - Shout out to Brooklyn, who inspired this outfit. &nbsp;Jones Country skirt and unbranded leather belt.</p> <p>20 - Thanksgiving Day! &nbsp;Talbots skirt and a white bodysuit layered with all the usual suspects.&nbsp;</p> <p> </div><div><br /></div><div>21 - Friendsgiving dinner last night. &nbsp;Zara skirt, Tahari sweater, Wolford tee, Cole Haan boots. &nbsp; This was a loose and lazy translation of an old Vivienne Westwood look. &nbsp;I plan to repeat this outfit with some cream crochet tights, red leather gloves, and a frilly scarf, all of which I have.&nbsp;</div><div><br /></div><div>Overall, I was happy and comfortable with these looks, although I am going to dial down the higher volume silhouettes, and not wear thicker textiles head-to-toe, moving into December. </p> <p>I also want to bring in some brighter, cheerier colors during the holidays.</p> <p> </div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div></div></p>
