Wow, love your fall outfits, Diana, you have some amazing DIY knits and do the layering trick so professional! My fave are 3,4, 8, 12, 15,16, 17... BUT WAS really hard to pick them out from the others!

So many great combinations and I like how the lace up boots work with so many of them.

So much great variety yet all true to your style! The texture are so fab especially all the knits.. made better by .knowing some of them are hand made by you your color combinations are not always “predictable” but always work so well!

I'm loving #5, 8, 15 and 17. Gorgeous Diana looks that always make me smile, and you are Queen Hand Knit.

Those blush sneaks got a 2018 workout.

Beautiful set of outfits, Diana. You look amazing. I especially love the handknits and am glad you showed some details of those because the richness of the textures and the colours isn't always apparent from the "whole body" shots.

I think my favourites are 2 (pleats in the top, too!), 5, 8, and 15.

Thanks Diana. I will check that out. I would love a little cropped cotton Cardi to wear with midi skirts on cooler days.

Brooklyn, Ravelry is your best bet for patterns and inspiration. If you can’t get the patterns directly through ravelry, there’s usually links to where to purchase them. Plus you can browse through everyone’s projects to get inspiration.

This is the pattern for the cocoon cardigan: https://www.ravelry.com/patter.....orts-cardi

These are all beautiful. I particularly like the outfits with your handknits. They add such great colour and texture.

Where do you get the patterns for the handknits? It’s so hard to find interesting lightweight toppers. I have been thinking I might take up knitting again (it’s been a while!) I can see that cocoon knit being really handy. Plus you can choose your own colour too.

Lots of outfits from the last 3 weeks or so. I haven't been participating in the forum as much recently because I'm trying not to shop this season... soooo these outfits are all composed of older stuff, with the exception of my few NAS purchases (which was basically the last time I shopped this year!) I think my closet is in pretty good shape even without shopping though.
I am slowing playing along with the big YLF closet edit too, but it's going to take me a while since I am doing it in bits and bobs. I have to say it's nice to do the editing while not getting distracted with new things coming in.

And now for the outfits! Lots of fall layering (my favorite), handknits, jeans, and midis in this batch.

1: an FFBO of plaid flannel tunic with black jeans and oxfords.
2: I wore this to my SIL's baby shower on a pretty warm day, hence the bare legs and summery skirt. I like how the pleats on the booties echo the pleats on the skirt! Top is handknit.
3: This is the Caslon hooded moto from NAS, along with some jeans (also from NAS) that I haven't gotten shortened yet, so I'm wearing them cuffed. Handknit sweater and scarf.
4: I semi-tucked this top and wore a belt with my jeans for a change.
5-7: An arty outfit with my Uniqlo JW Anderson ruffled wrap midi, handknit striped sweater, and teal combat boots. This was really fun to wear.
8: Tweed moto, jeans, and pink oxfords. This moto was from 2017 NAS and is one of my favorites.
9: handknit cocoon cardigan, with swan print top, jeans, and burgundy booties.
10-11: more hand knits, and the hooded moto again.
12: a very casual weekend outfit, with a logo tee (from a local brewery), hooded moto, and blush sneakers.
13-14: the cocoon cardigan again, this time over my ancient Liberty x Target ruffle blouse and grey jeans. I released the hem of these jeans and like them so much better now (they were a weird slightly too short but not short enough length before).
15-16: super 90's, super unstructured combo of flannel wrap dress and long jersey cardigan, and slouchy boots. This felt like pajamas and was maybe too unstructured. What do you think? It doesn't help that my hair looks a mess here for some reason!
17: Inspired by Janet! Structured blazer over a hoodie tee (which is from another brewery) and jeans, with teal boots.
