Sadly, our camera broke during the trip, so no outfit photos and only a few travel photos.</p> <p>Anyway, onto the outfits. Now that I'm back, I want to wear it with EVERYTHING! As you'll see below :).</p> <p>----<br /> Mon, 10/15: photos 1 &amp; 2. Blue and white collared shirt, "crazy pants", black heels. I wanted a classic item to ground my "crazy pants" -- a pair of houndstooth skinnies I found at NAS to replace <a href="http://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/kr-crazy-pants-edition">a pair I wasn't wild about</a> -- and I'd love to hear whether you think it worked.</p> <p>Tue 10/16: no photos. I'm "auditioning" a pair of pre-YLF chinos, and I'm not loving them. They're going to be purged in the next round, methinks.</p> <p>Wed 10/17: Photo 3. Straight jeans, brown/gray Clarks "Water Row" booties, new (p)leather jacket, "sailboat scribble" t-shirt. I completely swore off knit t-shirts this year, but made two exceptions for the Orla Kiely + Uniqlo collaboration. I ADORE Orla Kiely's prints.</p> <p>Thu 10/18: Photo 4. Same dress-over-buttondown <a href="http://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-827---831-getting-better-at-this">you've seen before</a>, but with black boots + tights (not pictured).</p> <p>Fri, 10/19: Photo 5 &amp; 6. My first attempt at denim-on-denim. The same straight jeans + booties you've seen this week, with a chambray shirt and leather jacket. How are the proportions?</p> <p>Please don't hold back on constructive criticism: I've been here a year, and I still think I have TONS to learn from you wonderful and fashionable ladies!</p> <p>----<br /> Lastly, a few bonus photos. We spent 8 days kayaking around the south of Crete, so I spent most of the trip in gear. I only needed to bring enough for 6 days of touring + clothes for lounging around after the paddle. Photo 7 is what I brought: my <a href="http://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-828---new-equipment-blouse-and-mind-the-gap">equipment blouse</a>, the "scribble sailboat" tee, a black travel dress, straight jeans, and a pair of linen bermudas. The last item is a HUGE step for me: I haven't worn shorts since the mid 2000s (I don't like how my legs look in them). However, with all the rhapsodising about the flattering "bermuda" length, I shortened and slimmed the leg on a pair of linen cargo pants and haven't looked back. I wish I had a photo of how happy a flattering pair of shorts make me!</p> <p>Photo 8 is Loutro, a town on the south of Crete only accessible by water; we paddled into it and spent 2 days there, and it is every bit as cute as it looks! Photo 9 is the Sanctuary of Athena at Delphi, a place I've dreamed about going to for over two decades. ♥My husband♥ decided it was time to stop deferring some dreams and convinced me to pull the trigger on going to Greece -- and it was definitely a trip worth waiting for! </p>
