My first thought was that a higher heel would eliminate the puddling to give a more sleek finish to the bottom. The pants really aren't voluminous so I think they work with the cardigan with just that slight tweak. The straight legs have more volume that compete with the low flowy hem of the topper. I think that's why you felt sloppy. That's why your impulse is to put on a structured blazer. Adding that structure. I have become very attached to slim and skinny leg pants but I still like these straight leg pants and want to keep them in rotation. They are only a few months old. BUT I am just not loving how I look in them:(. I don't think they are terrible but I realise how much I like a skinny leg.</p> <p>I did feel good in this outfit at the start of the day but by the time I got home I actually felt sloppy.
