1, 3 and 7 are so great - you really rock the black with accents! I think I want to try that formula (I need to find the perfect black pants! The hunt starts now!)

You look fabulous in pants -- especially slim ones. I adore #1 It's so crisp. #3 is so simple and polished. #5 & 6 are just fierce.

What a great set of outfits! A belt would help #2, I think. Maybe a semi- tuck?
I love the patterned pants and also your plaid pants.

Echoing the sentiment on those amazing pants.

I don't mind the tj Maxx sweater at all. I think you just need more contrast between the pants and top than you have here.

I have a small obsession with prints right now so I want to add a scarf (or a bold necklace) to the classic outfits in 3, 4 and 7. Now those pants in 5, can I steal them please? What a great find those are! They may work well with your red top in #7 in an outfit remix.

Suz,I'm usually a low contrast person, but I love anything nautical, and the navy & wht blazer reads nautical to me. The Tory burch pants are from last year, but you maybe able to find them in eBay. She called then skinny jeans.
Lantana, good call about changing the buttons on the yellow blazer, I think that they are part of the reason that it fell from favor.

I love the way you shop high and low and mix your high low purchases! And I love how you have chosen a variety of silhouettes!

Love #1! That is so much fun -- just look at those shoes! How do you feel about the strong contrast of the stripe? I ask because I ended up returning the Pleione black/white stripe blouse -- I really liked it, but felt like it was wearing me. I can't see your face/ features well enough to know if that might be the case here, but your colouring looks lower contrast. However, I also know that colouring is not the whole story. It also has to do with how you move, speak, etc. and as a result I can actually wear higher contrast than people might expect -- you might be the same. Anyway -- I love this outfit on you!

Agree with Lantana about #2.

I LOVE those Tory Burch pants -- wow!! Jealous!! Do you know if they are still available? (She says, greedily...)

I can see why you might bring that yellow blazer out to play again. A pop of colour blazer is a brilliant thing to have in the closet.

Oh wow, you have some great looks here.
#1 is a knock out. I suspect the blazer looks better in motion than the way it hangs in the photo. It's hard to do it justice when you need to hold the phone in front like that.
The blazer in #2 is not too short but I do think you need to accentuate the waistline with a belt.
#3 was perfect for the occasion, ditto your at home outfit in #4.
#5 & #6 are sensational. Fab pointy toes!
#7 - nice lines here but the sweater I think needs to have either a lot more structure or be a lot more fluid. It looks in between to my eye.
I like the silhouette of #8 very much. I suggest changing up the blazer buttons.

This process has been very eye opening. I started it because
I have not tracked my day to day outfits for more than a week at a time, and I
haven’t recorded them since the end of last winter. I seeing a pattern of my
visualizing something, and then having the reality be close, but somehow they are
missing something. I’m open to
thoughts and ideas on how to make them better.

Friday #1

It wasn’t until I took the picture that I realized….

Day One brought to you by The Gap

Blazer: The Gap

Pants: the Gap

Tee Shirt: The Gap

Shoes: Jessica Simpson

Saturday, #2

AM, To Temple

Looking at this outfit now, I can see that its close, but
somehow not completely working. Maybe the blazer is too short. Anyone have any
ideas?

Blazer: Uniqlo

Pants: WHBM

Shoes: Ann Taylor

Saturday #3

PM, to volunteer for a kids event sponsored by my company.
Need to be able to layer a company tee shirt, plus it was outside and the temperature
was in the mid 50’s.

Jeans: The Gap

Shirt: duofold thermal

Belt: Banana Republic

Booties: Isabel Marant

Sunday #4

Morning was spent cleaning (sorry no pictures of the sweats
and stained T). Afternoon, manicure, Target and grocery store.

Not loving this…the sweater is a big nothing.

Jeans: Hudson

Sweater : not sure, something from TJMaxx

Shoes: Cons

Monday #5

Playing fast and loose with the dress code at work, lets
call these printed twills, since jeans are not allowed

Pants: Tory Burch

Sweater: Martin and Osa

Tee: Talbots

Shoes: Stuart Weitzman

Tuesday #6

This is pattern mixing, at least for me!

Pants: Vince

Sweater: Target

Shoes ; on the left jeffrey Campbell, on the right; Prada

Ended up wearing the Prada. I really wanted the Jeffery
Campbell to work, but somehow they just didn’t seem right.

Wednesday #7

Wide leg pants…Hmmm, this needed something.

Pants: Talbots

Sweater: Magaschoni

Shoes: peter Kaiser

Thursday #8

This blazer is an almost orphan, I wear it a lot when I 1st
got it, then gradually wore it less and less, but I was not ready to get rid of
it. Reached for it today, because it was raining and I wanted something to
brighten the day. I think this
will become part of my go to items.

Pants: Eileen Fischer

Blazer: Paul and Joe for Target

Boots: Cole
Hahn

Thanks for looking.

Any of these you wouldn’t repeat? Many of these items are
years old, any that you would retire. Suggestions to make these outfits
better? Ways to bring these looks
to the next level?
