Or maybe, you could keep the outfit in neutral tones (black, white, grey) and add a pop of colour with tights? I was thinking mustard, brick red, teal... I also like the idea of pairing a pencil skirt with a chunky sweater, but that is probably not allowed, considering the dress code you gave. They were well worn, but still in good shape - though too tight around the tummy area. I loved them both, so it took some time to part. But I know it is liberating in the end.</p> <p>This is my new tweed skirt and I really love the zipper I've been wearing this quite a lot, and like to wear it with this Theory silk top because of the juxtaposition between the fabrics. Then I add a wool cardi, short or long. If I were having lectures, I'd add a blazer on top. </p> <p>Any suggestions for other top?<br /> Is the skirt a bit short for lectures?
