The (only!) pair I own is very pretty nude suede pump, but it kills my feet. I could manage couple hours of standing at most in them, or maybe a restaurant date - only sitting required But most often I need to be able do some walking.<br />Now I am deliberately stocking my closet, starting at&nbsp; basics. And heels are a rare occasion shoe for me, so I firstly put my money in flat daily shoes that will get a lot of wear. And new coat finally altered, the sleeves turned out just fine. I wore this outfit to an event at opera house. The dress itself is quite bombshell, but I toned that down with oversized man coat, flat chelsea boots and I kept my makeup to minimal, letting eyeglasses and short hair do, act their role :)</p> <p>any comments and critiques are welcome. </p>
