I've done red in the past (waaaay past) and it gets especially noticeable on dark hair hehe ^^ My stylist told me that pretty much no color would show on my hair without lightening (it's about as dark a brown you can get without actually being black), and I know that there are curly gals whose curls were stripped during the lightening, including mine when I did it as a kid,&nbsp;which is what gives me the most pause. I've been thinking I might try balayage on the longer bits I've got to see what happens to the curls; that way if they get stripped I could just cut the ends off, and if they work then I can sport a bit of the bright color I've always wanted. Guess they will be staying behind when you go for those long walks on the beach </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-new-cutout-boots-for-saturday-errands-including-a-haircut#post-1241130 Sat, 03 May 2014 23:20:57 +0000 Diana 1241130@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Here are the pewter cutout boots I received last week. &nbsp;Obviously I decided to keep them. &nbsp;For their first outing I paired them with rolled up skinnies, a linen tee, and my 3/4 sleeve swing coat. &nbsp;Wore this for errands and other things, including going to get my hair cut and colored (long overdue). &nbsp;And striped socks to show through the cutouts!&nbsp; I got the same inverted bob and wine color I always do, but it looks new and fresh to me because it has been way too long since my last haircut! &nbsp;I've included some pics from right after the haircut, outdoors because the color doesn't show as much indoors.</p> <p>Oh, and I discovered a somewhat funny problem with cutout boots today. &nbsp;One of the things we went to was a carnival type thing at a school, in the schoolyard which had unpaved paths and gravel and stuff like that. &nbsp;I kept getting sand and gravel in my shoes because it was going in through the cutouts! &nbsp;So lesson learned: don't wear these boots to walk around on gravel and sand! &nbsp;;)</p> <p>F21 tee, Vince jeans, To Be Announced boots, Tulle coat. </p>
