Are they hand-knit by YOU? </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-new-burgundy-boots-for-a-winter-pick-me-up#post-1889690 Wed, 14 Feb 2018 21:58:12 +0000 Diana 1889690@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Suz's post this morning reminded me that I never posted WIW photos with the new burgundy boots I got a few weeks ago. &nbsp;You might remember that, like her, I was bored of my winter shoe choices and was looking for something to mix things up a bit but that would still be practical for walking around in nasty weather and on slippery sidewalks. &nbsp;The selection of winter-worthy boots that are not black, brown, or gear-ish is very lacking. &nbsp;I ended up purchasing these tall burgundy Rieker boots from Nordstrom and have been very happy with them so far. &nbsp;They are warm, comfortable, waterproof, and have excellent traction. &nbsp;They're also not black, which is a nice change of pace. &nbsp;(Actually, I have several pairs of burgundy/red shoes, because I love them, but this is my first pair of tall burgundy boots.) &nbsp;</p> <p>So here are a few outfits that I've put together with them. &nbsp;Actually, most of them (all except #4, really) are old combos that I've worn a lot, but the new boots make them feel new and different. &nbsp;</p> <p>#4 was an attempt to do last Friday's ensemble. &nbsp;I don't have any cinnamon so I substituted my camel sweater. &nbsp;I think the proportions might be off a little bit but i liked the color combo. &nbsp;</p> <p>All of the sweaters are hand knit! </p>
