Interesting. Yes - the dress reads almost as a pale blue on my screen in comparison to the other pieces. I think maybe the boots are just too dark and the colours not quite right together, but I wonder if some of that is an effect of the flash. Sometimes colours that look quite good together IRL don't photograph well together.

Maybe a higher contrast topper or darkish belt to accentuate your waist?

I like the look of the individual pieces and the silhouhette too - I think perhaps it is the darkness of the boots against the lightness of the other 2 garments. Maybe your hair bookends that though.

Hmm, it's a lot of unbroken length, and the boots look quite heavy in comparison to the light-colored layers. Perhaps a belt or scarf in a color to pick up the tone of the boots?

i wore this to do some returns at the mall. i like the silhouette, but it feels unfinished...as if i needed one more thing to really make the outfit a 10. perhaps the grey is too cold for the warmer tones of the cardi and the boot?

any suggestions?
