Deborah:Thanks for suggestions. I actually tried to find some open toe ballet flats before but because my feet are not only with problems but also quite narrow, I haven't found what I was looking for so far. Btw, what is "high low top"?

Great skirt! I would wear it with a denim or white jacket. I think it can work with sandals although maybe some in a darker slightly dressier style.

What about a high low top to debomb the pencil skirt? That creates a casual yet stylish look. I think it would be lovely with ballet flats but given your feet problems what about an open toe ballet flat?

I love this skirt (I tried it on at BR too). What about pairing it with a jean jacket so that you get that great casual/dressy vibe that Angie wrote about earlier this week? I love a more formal, textured fabric like this with jeans. Also, what about a button down with the sleeves rolled up (aka the JCrew roll)?

I love the skirt. And with that length you should be able to pair with flats or flat sandals quite well.
Black and white pattern could go with nearly any color top (my preference would be red, strong pink or blue or emerald). I could see with a pussy bow blouse, a soft silk blouse, or a simple boatneck worn untucked with sandals.

I don't really know what to do with this skirt, its small check, black and white, bought this a BR on sale few months back and haven't even worn it once. It would look great with heels and tailored shirt except I can't wear any kind of heel or close toe shoes right now except sandals due to my feet problems(and I am lucky that I can wear this kind of stuff at work. So I need to come up with some casual ways to wear it.
FYI, in the full lenth pic I am just trying it on to everyone could see the fit and style, I wasn't going to wear it this way. And second pic is the closeup of a pattern.
Any input is appreciated:))
