Daria: I had no idea about semi-tucked until I came to YLF last month. Makes me feel like I live under a rock because they are everywhere. I'm comforted to know that I'm not alone.

I prefer it semi-tucked. Feels most modern. Very, very nice! And I would think you could wear a range of yellows.

I like it both semi tucked and fully tucked. The yellow belt is a brilliant touch! The cardigan makes it easy, casual. A blazer dresses things up.

I see no problem with this yellow color on you, it seems like you can take a bold color, but I do like Joy's suggestion to experiment with shades.

Your WIW looks great. I always think of yellow as something that will work for warm complexions (autumn and spring) so I bet you can find one that works. Maybe a true citrusy lemon, not buttery.

Sterling - great advice! This link for example suggests some colors that might work (provided I identified myself correctly as deep autumn :)):
http://www.thechicfashionista......lysis.html
Angie - thanks!

I think of yellow as challenging, however, I liked Angie's ensemble so much I want to try and find some yellow pieces. Right now I am experimenting with different shades of yellow. To focus my search, I looked at color palettes for winters. If you are interested, try to find color palettes for autumns. Then focus in on those colors that work for your coloring and that interest you. Good luck.

Joy - thank you. You are right that there are so many shades of yellow, some of them might work. Worth experimenting.

I like this very much, especially with the light blue topper. I think that there is a yellow that will work with your skin. Experiment. I used to think that I could not wear yellow but found 2 shades, maybe three. Try light to mid tone golds if clear yellow doesn't work.

I already wore this navy turtleneck this week - without a belt and with a different blazer. Didn't like how it played out. Then Angie's post about light blue, lemon etc made me think that my outfit would look lovely (theoretically) with some sort of lemon/light yellow blazer or cardi. Theoretically - because first, I don't own any yellow blazers :), and second - not sure how it look on me. Ladies here posted about yellow for "winter" skin type. I'm probably not winter (more like autumn perhaps?) but not feeling like yellow close to my face could be a win. What do you ladies think?

Finally, to today's outfit (worn to run errands). I tried the turtleneck semi-tucked and tucked. Complemented with light blue topper and yellow belt.
