That may yet happen to me... anyway it looks great on you, your legs look a mile long ( rather like Janet's in one of her recent posts) and the teal top is so pretty on you. Good to see you new boots getting the wear too.&nbsp;<br />I kind of think that looking in the mirror and seeing Andy Warhol may not be quite so disconcerting as my looking in the mirror and seeing my deceased mother who died 18 years ago...<br />and as for glasses I am thinking about that. Several people suggested that on my recent post, but my current ones are quite new only January 2016 and the whole frames, lenses, reflective coating etc is so costly. Not the look I was trying for. I immediately made an appointment and&nbsp;am happy! </p> <p>I finally realized after months of growing it out painfully slowly, I wasn't going to like it when it was longer, and there was no reason not to go back to a style I really like. &nbsp;My hair is super fine, very straight in my dry climate and too thin to look good at longer lengths. This will be so easy, and I think it is so much better for me than the grow out.&nbsp;</p> <p>Last night DH and I went to the quarterly Parent Social while the kids were having their formal dinner. I have been trying to add a third piece so dug out this necklace, made from a 25 year old chain and a glass bead from the craft room. I trotted out the cord topper I scored on sale at last spring after YFL made me realize I only had gear jackets. It is so cozy and comes in petite, but I found the XS regular to give me the length to cuff.</p> <p>Sorry about the poor photo quality. It is getting dark earlier now, but I wanted to share my new 'do and thank YFLers for reminding that I didn't have to grow my hair out. Special thanks to <b>Emily K, Jenni NZ and Angie</b> for recent posts that gave me the extra shove.</p> <p>Next on the agenda - new glasses! </p>
