I actually find the silhouette very flattering and feminine on you. I don't think this look accentuates your hips at all. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think you are a pretty pear? This look doesn't 'hide' your pear tendencies it actually glorifies them.. in a very good way IMO. The length of the roll looks good and the sandals are cute. The sandals are low contrast with you skin tone so I don't find the look shortens you at all. It could be interesting to see a lower vamp sandal/shoe for comparison though.
