Thanks for the feedback so far -

The boots in #1-2 are old red booties that I really like (even though the cheap leather is peeling on the tongue.). They're a bit redder than my 'new' pair that I cut the tabs from (#4). I picked up the new pair to be 'cognac', though I think they're a bit too red for that to. Oh well.

I'm not sure that the skinnies need lengthened (which I have plenty of room to do on their hem), so much as that they didn't interact well with the boots - the jeans were too thick to tuck into the boots, and too tight to wear well over them. It made them bunch up at the knees instead of the ankles where it would look better. I think if I cut the extra fabric (the hem) that's making the ankles thick, then they'll bunch better. When I get there, I'll post pics.

This is my first time successfully basing an outfit on a pinterest photo, yay!

I really like #1, I think you nailed that one. The boots are fab! I'd like the second one more with longer jeans, but I don't think it's a deal breaker, you could also add a striped or checked scarf for a bit of pattern mixing. Love the egg!

I think the outfit in #1 &2 looks great! The color combination of the plaid shirt + sweater is fabulous. I'm no expert on boyfriend jeans so I'll let those with a better eye for it weigh in. The boots look great too- are those the same ones (minus tabs) that you posted previously? They look more red than I remember! I think you really nailed the look from your inspiration pic.

#4 looks good too - I might have gone with a slightly longer jean because I like a bit of "scrunch" over boots, but I think that's not a universal sentiment.

I don't have chickens, but I do have a toddler that for some reason just loves covering mud-covered rocks...

Since last week's discussion on wearing boyfriend jeans in the fall, and seeing all the brilliant examples here, I started wondering 'what are boyfriend jeans anyway - I want some' (Yeah, I'm clueless).

Then I noticed that one of my jeans sits a bit low on my hips, and maybe could be 'boyfriends' if they were rolled. So I tried it. I think they're a bit too boot cut to really pull off the boyfriend look, but I liked it anyway. That's photo #1-#2. (gratuitous shot of the chicken-poop-covered-egg I picked up while out for photos. Backyard chickens sure are messy).

The actual outfit is inspired by this pin. (#3)

Over the weekend I tried out one of the MOTG formulas: Skinny jeans, graphic T and a jacket. At least I think it was an MOTG formula. (#4). I liked it on, but I'm not terribly sure in the photos. Is it frumpy?

I love feedback. Please give me tips for improvement. Thank you all!
