I love those two colors together, and think that he second outfit with the jeans is beautiful.

On the first one, I would cuff those jeans a bit higher, till right under the knee.

I like the second look with the darker jeans and white belt. I agree a bolder shoe would add more pop. Since the top is a solid color, you can have fun with the shoes, bag and other accessories to add some punch to the outfit. Great top! Very flattering on you.

Hi Kim. LOVE your top, why can't I seem to find tops like that around here?! I really like the top with your skinnies, the sillhouettes look *great* together. Have fun experimenting! (Oh, and I am so with you regarding the whole "real life" vs "photo" difference. Amazing and eye-opening, isn't it?!)

I like the addition of the white belt, and I like the shoes with the outfit. They do look more neutral than yellow, and a brighter tone would create a very different look. I agree with others re: the darker denim.

I love the color of this top <3 <3 <3. I think the darker jeans do look better, although I don't think they _need_ to be that saturated. If you have a burgundy or purple-brown belt to go with this top, that would be my pick.

Oh, red! I have red flats, that might look good too...
I think you are right about the color of the jeans too, now that I see them in pictures. It's amazing to me how the outfit *really* looks in pics vs how I *think* it looks when I put it on...LOL

I like it better with the darker jeans: it has more contrast with the top hwich allows it to pop. I also like the white belt better.
Shoes are nice and I do not mind them in this outfir: they allow the tank to take a centre stage. They act as neutral element here - almost look cream to me. If as per Khris suggestion you go with more saturated yellow shoes the look will be very different and bolder.
I would prefer it actually but the one you have is nice too.
You can also try white, cream, red or purple with this top.

I actually don't care for this color combination. The teal is pretty saturated and the shoe is very light. I would go with a brighter yellow with this.

Here is an new pic using the white belt idea and my skinny jeans. Better (question mark)

http://i1028.photobucket.com/a.....ils006.jpg

Also, here is a pic of the detailing on the shirt, although it really is slightly greener IRL
http://i1028.photobucket.com/a.....ils002.jpg

And detailing on the shoes. They too are more like the color on the inside of the shoe IRL.

http://i1028.photobucket.com/a.....ils001.jpg

I like the colours, although I'm not a big fan of cuffed jeans, sorry. I'd add a yellow, brown, white or a coral belt. The black one is nice, but seems a bit too heavy. I love the shoes!

Here I am today, attempting to mix colors based on another post I saw on the forum today. (Thank you very much!) I bought this shirt on my shopping trip to Syracuse last week but it was 3 sizes too large (from an XS to a L). I can sew and this was a simple alteration. Took it up in the shoulders and in at the sides, and Voila! a shirt that fit, whose color I love for less than 8 bucks! Loved the ruffles on it, that is why I bought it. They are hard to see, but very nice. I think it will be a good layering piece when the weather gets cooler, but is also great and comfy right now.

Got the yellow shoes a couple of days ago at Zellars (a lot like Target in the US) on sale for $7.50! You probably can not see it, but they are an eyelet material, with an elastic sling back and very comfy!

So, what do you think of the color match on this outfit. (Sorry for the punctuation but my keyboard is acting squirrelly) What kind of and what color belt would you do with the jeans. I realize not everyone likes cuffed jeans, but for me and my lifestyle they are a great thing and I love them!

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, and you can finally see my hair down as it is a bit cooler in my neck of the woods today! (its a bit longer than you can see, as it is pushed back behind my shoulders. (And ignore the body builder stance, I took 4 pics and this was the best! I am not a model, that is for sure! LOL)
