Who knew?<br />@Firecracker/Sharan: Yup, I have a lot of tights and socks, including some that I inherited from my mom. I'm not femme, but I really feel with that flannel shirt I need to wear a pencil skirt, even if it is a jeans skirt.<br />@Jaime: For years I've been struggling with how to wear that yellow orange top, but now I have bottoms with high enough waists to make me feel comfortable.<br />@rachylou: Believe it or not, this exercise has prompted me to try combos I hadn't previously. I rarely wore that cropped gray sweatshirt top because it didn't have sleeves. But with a tight sleeved top underneath and a jeans jacket or other jacket on top it becomes wearable. Duh!<br />@Sisi: Wearing blazers is something I haven't done since the '80s, and that was something I did strictly for work. Now I'm pushing myself to learn how to style them casually and not feel too precious about it.<br />@Jessikams: Good eyes!!! Sadly, you will come up empty if you click on my Find. It kind of puffs out near the shoulders, and I decided I really don't like drape-iness which is why I rarely wear it. I had been planning to edit out #9, the L.L. Bean YLF lemming flannel shirt from quite a few years back, but it wasn't quite a rough against my skin as I had thought. I learned that #13 just needed an underlayer and my highest waists to be more wearable. Am contemplating #16 --those big blanket scarves can be annoying, but I don't have anything else in quite that colorway.</p> <p>@Star: #14 skirt is pilling a bit I think because it is a knit with polyester. In this exercise I learned to pair it with something that's not smooth like heather or marl so that the pilling becomes invisible.</p> <p>@Suz: I've contemplated going all neutral which is my calming place; I get anxious when I wear too much color too often. But today, I'm wearing a long very bright yellow sweater that is making me happy as a clam.
