If you love the boots otherwise it might be worth taking them to a cobbler to get an extra grommet put it (I can't imagine it would cost <i>too</i> much). Also since these are taller in the shaft you want to make sure that you've got enough room for your stride, so depending on the leather you might actually need that extra room. If you like them and&nbsp;they're comfortable, you probably only need to worry if you're thinking of wearing them with a skirt. You can always fill the gap with scrunched up socks.</p> <p>That said, it does look as though the ankle strap isn't sitting quite right. That's got nothing to do with slender legs and everything to do with the boots.
