I had meant to wear the turtleneck (Talbots merino) untucked but it didn't look quite right. I wasn't sure if it was a tad too long or a bit too straight through the waist but I was in a hurry so I just tucked it in and called it good. The boots are Aquatalia Rhumba - perfect for my fairly narrow calves and very comfy. Me-made wool skirt again, and scarf from Nordstrom.</p> <p>#2 is from last Thursday - I had to go to an orientation for would-be volunteers (a complete waste of time but I did get to watch - in disbelief - ineptitude taken to a whole new level) and then some errands. Cashmere turtleneck (LLBean) with a silk undershirt because the temperature dropped to freezing overnight. I pinned my favorite brooch at the neck. Me-made wool pants.</p> <p>Then I had a few days of lounging at home because I was feeling run down. I figured the body needed to rest.</p> <p>#3 is from today - a lunchtime appointment and then I stopped at the bookstore before going home. Bootcut jeans (Paige), cashmere crew (LLBean), scarf (Brooks Brothers). Silk undershirt again because it was cold, cold, cold! (I actually ran on ice this morning - the track had a thin layer of ice all over it.) </p> <p>Comments? Ideas for improvement?</p>
