I went back through some of your recent posts, and the outfits where you really shine (for me) have more structure on top, and lift your look "up." Specifically, maybe try that boatneck white striped top with the jean jacket and the little scarf (you wore the jacket and scarf with a brownish cable sweater). Or the long white blouse, or the dark blue/white windowpane plaid blouse.
