I just find it so much more comfortable for all-day wear. And one of my go-to pieces for work this fall is a ponte-knit midi skirt with a slim shape. I've been wearing it with flat booties. I've considered wearing it with chunky loafers or more refined oxfords, but so far, different pairs of booties have won out each time.
