Suz - the retro 70's look is definitely there. There's also another reference. The fastening on the side dates to (so I was told) a post 9/11 fashion for  fireman inspired details. Bijou - I think the waist is still is little too big, so I can't tuck (and you can't see) But it is a better length.  I'm trying to take the winter weight off now we have this lovely weather coming up! Your sweater covers the waist band, so I cannot tell if the skirt is too big. Had the advantage of not being too crushable for the trip to work in my backpack while cycling. This handed down skirt usually feels too big, though I wear it anyway, but with my weight up at the moment, it fits better at the top, though looking at the photo makes me wonder about the fit on the thighs. Any comments or criticism welcome.
