You are right, the "vest" is more of a top, and I do wear it that way, usually with a cami, as <b>Caro</b> suggests. That strikes me as a top though, I don't get a "vest" sense from it at all. Loooove the look with the long, low-rolled BF jeans in #1/2. The booties would work well there, too. I also like how it looks with the harem pants. Both footwear options look good there. The booties for when you want a dash more trend, and the ballet flats for when you want a little more classic grounding. It can be worn as a top, but even then I'll wear a cami underneath, since it's kind of short on its shorter side. </p> <p>The outfits:</p> <p>1-2 (for going to breakfast and hanging out at home): asymmetric metallic vest (made by me); ivory layering tee (Tees by Tina); full-length boyfriend jeans (Fidelity, Rocco); metallic ballet flats (AGL).</p> <p>3-5 (for work this evening): same tops, with black knit harem pants (Eileen Fisher); metallic cutout peep-toe booties (Paul Green).</p> <p>6: same work outfit, with metallic ballet flats instead of booties. (I decided to go with the booties.)</p> <p>This outfit feels very me. </p> <p>Thanks for looking! I look forward to any comments you want to share and will see them after work this evening. </p>
