(A workhorse for Seattle!) I like the sporty yet polished style, the color, the light weight. It has tabs to pull up the sleeves a little bit, which is nice in warm weather. But then, the fabric has a light rubber-like coating inside, which makes it less comfortable in same warm weather. Overall I find my Cole Haan packable coat more versatile, with its longer length, softer and lighter fabric. Plus, the hood on the Cole Haan is stowable in the collar, for a dressier look, and it fits a little roomier, so I can layer more under it if need be. I took a collarless jacket class (year before last, I think), and this was my project. It was a class that spanned several weeks. So I had a lot of help with it. <br />Una, I pretty faithfully copied a Parker jacket I saw and tried on at Nordstrom. Except that one was black and white tweed, and it had a painted orange stripe where I've placed the ribbon.
