I think my impulse to eyelet was coming from a sense that I liked the length and having something definitive at the hem, but wanted a bit of a softer look. I know the pattern mixing won't be everyone's cup of tea but it's definitely mine! </p> <p>My other summer cardis are all solids and this caught my eye because I thought I could pair it with several of my printed sundresses.</p> <p>Looking at the photos shoes w a little more oomph might be better but I took both cats to the vet today for a long overdue checkup (they're fine!) and wanted very stable footwear for wrangling them!</p> <p>Also contemplating removing that green strip at the hem of the dress and replacing it with a bit of eyelet trim?</p> <p>Ps bonus kitty pics! </p>
