The gold was a score - it seems like silver or black lenses are more popular these days. It drapes well <i> because </i> it's 100% viscose. I'm under 5ft4, so I usually tuck a little bit of the skirt into a waist belt to 'hike' it up a little. Like <b> @Angie </b> mentioned recently about the 'new' shorter PPL, I prefer to showcase my shoes in a shorter length than to fear falling flat on my face, haha </p> <p><b> @JAileen </b> I don't think Zara delivers in Hong Kong, but the lockdown is easing up here so I may go browse the racks next month (fingers crossed we don't get a third wave!) It seems many of the maxi dresses this season are <i>almost</i> perfect but not quite - either a 'midaxi' length, too see through, or they have a plunging neckline or sleeves above the elbow. Feels so archaic to still be using printed textbooks given the current global situation, but I digress... </p> <p>The last time I was on campus was in March, when the humidity was still 'only' at 70%. It's now at 90%+, so I wanted to wear something breathable that requires no layering. Enter this printed maxi dress! </p> <p>I also have a version of this dress in a black floral print, &amp; would probably be scouring Zara's racks for this year's reiteration now if it wasn't for that pesky COVID-19. I love these maxi shirt dresses because they're breathable enough to feel like cotton but are actually 100% viscose &amp; therefore drape well. And the best part? They have POCKETS! </p> <p>I do sometimes have to add a safety pin at the bust, but I feel this 'softer' version of the typical shirt dress style works better on my curves. What do you think? </p>
