I like both the updated outfits very much, though I'd personally prefer not to see the little white cami peeking from the v-neck to streamline a bit more. The tall boots and marbled pants keep the sweater from looking overly sweet. Do you think a denim jacket might make the difference you are looking for? I also agree with Sara that a boxy/fluid sweater will make the look more on trend, but a topper might bring the same fluidity. I also think a scarf in a dark color will bookend your boots beautifully, although the handbag pretty much balances the dark boots. Perhaps the peek-a-boo white tee has completely mitigated the effect of the V-neck?</p> <p>I used my dark hair as a book-end to the dark colours on the bottom- a trick I learned from you clever fabbers! Still, I think I need something a bit more deliberate.
