So pretty. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-low-contrast-copycat#post-1144368 Mon, 20 Jan 2014 15:05:09 +0000 Emily 1144368@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I think this may be my first straight-up blogger copy. &nbsp;I started watching the blog "Katie's Bliss" because she had the same pair of blue suede booties as I do, but I really like her trendy, feminine style</p> <p>The Inspiration (#2):&nbsp;<br /><a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.katiesbliss.com/2013/10/bow-on-my-waist-tweed-chambray.html/">http://www.katiesbliss.com/201.....bray.html/</a></p> <p>Statement necklaces aren't really my thing, but I like how this one is in similar tones to her chambray shirt. &nbsp;The bow skirt is ladylike and the low contrast colours and higher contrast between&nbsp;textures are right up my alley.</p> <p>I don't have a chambray shirt, but this blue button down from American Eagle is pretty close. &nbsp;The fabric is variegated blues that look a lot like denim. &nbsp;The cut is fitted and ladylike.&nbsp; I've had a chambray shirt on my wishlist since last summer, but haven't found one that fits as well as my chambray stand-in. &nbsp;I considered wearing my gray pencil skirt, but it doesn't have belt loops and I really wanted the accent at the waist. &nbsp;I decided on dark gray trousers with a knotted silver belt. &nbsp;For the necklace, I chose a silver one with big links. &nbsp;Shoes are my pointy toed nine west pumps.&nbsp;</p> <p>I feel alright in this. &nbsp;I know that tucking a shirt in to lower-slung trousers isn't my most flattering look, but it is fun to experiment! &nbsp;The colours and low contrast feel like me, but my ensembles are usually a bit less styled and more throw-on-and-go. &nbsp;What do you think? </p>
