Agree with #14 - you wear black really well, but also love you in the brighter colors. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-lots-of-outfits-lots-of-handknits#post-1861708 Sun, 19 Nov 2017 02:59:29 +0000 Diana 1861708@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Haven't posted outfit photos in a while, so here are a whole bunch. &nbsp;As you can see, it's finally gotten cold here so I've busted out the hand knits and layering big time. &nbsp; I apologize for the darkness and poor photo quality in a lot of these photos - I am having lighting issues in all my photo spots on grey days.</p> <p>1-3: the last of the warm autumn outfits. &nbsp;Handknit lace sweater, full skirt, and cutout booties with patterned socks. &nbsp;</p> <p>4: Handknit lace hoodie, floral blouse, grey jeans, and pink oxfords.</p> <p>5: Basic black sweater (a rare store-bought sweater), jeans, black boots, and a long necklace to make it a little more interesting.</p> <p>6: hand knit cabled sweater, striped skirt (not hand knit), and taupe boots.</p> <p>7-8: a newly finished hand knit sweater in a magenta tweed, layered over olive tank (inspired by all the talk about olive lately). &nbsp;Also my Kate Spade floral tote because it matched the sweater really well! &nbsp;None of my photos of this sweater adequately convey the fact that the yarn is actually a subtle tweed with a darker strand running through it. &nbsp;</p> <p>9-12: Handknit cropped cable sweater with new ruffle wrap skirt from the Uniqlo/JW Anderson collab (find linked). &nbsp;I got the charcoal grey stripe. Photo #12 is lightened way up to attempt to show some of the details of the skirt. &nbsp;It has a lot of ruffles and asymmetrical bits and is super fun to wear, although does require some thought when styling. &nbsp;Floral bag again, mostly b/c I was too lazy to swap it out. &nbsp;It doesn't really match but I think it's fun anyway. &nbsp;</p> <p>13: A hand knit vest layered over a striped tee with jeans and oxfords, with the floral bag again. &nbsp;You can't see any details here but the vest is burgundy with an all-over cable pattern.</p> <p>14: Teal liberty print skinnies, teal sneakers, and teal bag. &nbsp;With some drapey black layers. &nbsp;I LOVED how this one came out.</p> <p>15-16: Another wearing of the new hand knit tweed sweater. &nbsp;This time I layered it over a printed blouse and paired it with jeans and my tall cognac boots. </p>
