And thank you especially for the nice words about my mum. Yes, she was very special, of course :-). As the years go by and I am of that age&nbsp;I most vividly&nbsp;remember her from, I understand and appreciate&nbsp;her life, her attitudes and her courage&nbsp;more and more. I remember hearing once that no matter at what age you loose mum, it's always too early. It's true, but we can't choose that moment - so I&nbsp;choose to honour her life - and mine - by living mine with the positive attitude and hopefully the same&nbsp;self-respect&nbsp;she displayed. It strikes me now, as I write, that what parenting books I have been&nbsp;reading these past years keep saying&nbsp;is so true: you raise a child by teaching them what to do, but even more by showing them how you go through your life.</p> <p>Please excuse I cannot address everyone individually. I have read every word though, and will return to this thread again. </p> <p>I just wanted to say special thanks to <b>Sharon</b> - I did not have enough time to comment on any of your threads recently (I have read them all), but your story and wardrobe puzzles had touched me deeply. They sounded close and&nbsp;familiar (although I had no idea of their depth and effects at the time I was witnessing them).&nbsp;So did your attitude and I am so, so glad you have YLF to be your other mirror too. Looking back, there are other things I wish we had kept too (my sister and I), or even that she did not give away when she was still with us (she had killer mod dresses),&nbsp;but who knew it would be actually wearable on top of being kept for memories alone. These things take space after all, and you have to live your life(style) and not be burdened by things after all. That's how I look at it at least.</p> <p>I must admit though that I have bought a few things over the years which were almost copies of what I remembered seeing&nbsp;on my mum.
