Well done! </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-late-to-the-plaid-party#post-1372431 Thu, 09 Oct 2014 05:56:40 +0000 Neel 1372431@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Firstly ....&nbsp;Sorry I have been MIA for the most of last week. &nbsp;My 3.5 yr old&nbsp;came down with a nasty bacterial infection (strep related)&nbsp;and had to be administered IV antibiotics for 3 days in a row&nbsp;since the regular ones weren't helping him &nbsp;It was so so hard to watch the little guy go through it. &nbsp;But at the end of it, I am thankful it helped him feel better after 3 weeks of agony (and different types of&nbsp;oral antibiotics!). &nbsp;I just hope this is the end of it and it doesn't relapse (His last dose of oral antibiotics was this morning). &nbsp;Fingers crossed for a healthy tomorrow :)</p> <p>So the past couple of&nbsp;weeks have been repeats and more repeats. &nbsp;Mostly my linen pants with sandals&nbsp;and the shift dresses that you have seen so many times. &nbsp;I just didn't have the energy to think of what to wear or to take pics! &nbsp;Finally, yesterday I had some me time and guess what I did &nbsp;Yep .... I went shopping! &nbsp;I found this perfect-for-me plaid boyfriend shirt in Newlook. &nbsp;It's perfect for me because&nbsp;</p> <p>1) The colors are perfect for me with lots of white (waving to Angie!)<br />2) A boyfriend shirt fits my shoulders and my hips without looking oversized yet perfectly fluid!<br />3) The pockets do not draw unwanted attention to my chest.</p> <p>I was supposed to do a k/r yesterday but my camera battery had died. &nbsp;And this morning the fashion devils asked me to rip the tags off &nbsp;So here it is with my most worn chopped-skinnies-summer-shorts and another wardrobe workhorse, the Steve Madden pony hair slip on sneaks. &nbsp;I went for the super casual easy look by leaving the shirt un-tucked.</p> <p>I wore this for the morning school run. &nbsp;No handbag since I didn't need one. &nbsp;Do you think I should have tucked the shirt? &nbsp;Thanks for looking and I just realized the first para is just a huge whine! &nbsp;Ack! &nbsp;So a double thanks for reading and commenting! :)</p>
