I agree that a scarf or something to tie these colours together would be great. </p> <p>The second one is very nice, too. I think that dresses with that waistline are very difficult to top except with a bolero type cardigan. But IRL with your whole self in motion I suspect the effect is a bit different. I agree with a long necklace would be great with #1 and adding a belt would help with the proportions. I could belt with a skinny belt underneath the cardigan. I find it hard to skinny belt over anything voluminous because the fabric just seems to rumple up above and below the belt. This is the Levi's trucker jacket, not the AE one.</p> <p>@Lyn: No belt loops, but I could add tuck the whole thing in and add a belt. I felt uncomfortable with belt + blouse + skirt but I could do belt + tank + cardigan + skirt. I will try scrunchign the jacket sleeves more - they are super stiff!</p> <p>@Kirti and Deborah: A necklace/long pendant is exactly what I had in mind. All my necklaces are short because they're precious metals. I did even worse at the photography, as I only managed to photograph two of them.</p> <p>1) Neapolitan ice cream color scheme:<br /> Yellow green Halogen skirt from NAS<br /> Brown silk knit tank<br /> Pink crew neck cardigan<br /> Grey Mary Janes (not shown)</p> <p>2) Dress with new denim jacket (funnily enough I repeated this today)<br /> Navy blue/white patterned dress<br /> White denim jacket<br /> Same grey Mary Janes (not shown)</p> <p>I feel like both outfits were fine but not 10's. In particular, the first outfit felt like it needed an accessory - necklace or bracelet, etc.</p> <p>Suggestions welcome! </p>
