The lavender sweater look is complete with slippers!</p> <p>Monday, I wore my new blue BCBG jacket (I am still not sure how I got two jackets from them for $75 each) which is a lovely color they called ash, a black merino sweater from Everlane, and Paige Canterbury plaid skinnies. I wore my blue zipper shoes from J Crew to tie with the blue of the jacket and the zipper trim on the pants.</p> <p>Tuesday, I wore a lilac sweater from J Crew, some Ciitizens light grey skinny jeans, a Tory Burch belt and Cole Haan slippers. I am never quite satisfied with this sweater. I love the color, but I find it to look very bulky whether I let it just hang or try to semi-tuck. (I vote for a YLF saying of the year "What the faux tuck," from something AlaskaGirl said a while back that still makes me laugh when I'm messing about with the semi tucking.)</p> <p>Today, a whole bunch of NAS purchases: Paul Green anthracite boots, which I almost returned and am so glad I didn't, J Brand plum skinnies, some Nordstrom house brand dark floral blouse, and DWP jacket. This jacket is actually one of my top 2014 purchases. It's hard to see in the picture but the fabric is slightly shiny and has a fabulous drape. Unfortunately I suspect this brand to be a one hit wonder as I haven't found the jacket anywhere online for a link.</p> <p>And my Hipsi belt was hiding under everything.
