I walked by the store in Boston a couple of weeks ago but didn't have time to go in - now I'm not sure I want to. I've been to one in CA and it felt extremely teenybopperish and like it was catering to the f21 crowd, but at definitely not f21 prices. I wasn't impressed with the quality either. But their website and the experiences of others here (especially the Canadians) suggest a higher degree of sophistication, but with a glam streak maybe. And I noticed the same as you about the normcore, subdued vibe of the window display at the Boston store. Then the night I bought the skirt, the SA was fawning over the tiny, pretty, young Asian woman 4 feet from me while never once giving me a glance, never mind asking me if I needed help. &nbsp;When I took the skirt to the register, the young woman there asked pointedly if I wanted to try it on and when I said no (because I was on my way to an appointment and I can visualize whether a garment as simple as a tube skirt will or will not fit over my hips), double checked to make sure it wasn't final sale. Cold cloudy weather with a chance of rain derailed me from what I thought I was going to wear! </p> <p>Anyway, this is a skirt from Aritzia (new), a tank from Gap (also new), jean jacket (Gap, old), BOC sandals (newish), random old silver hoops. Even though the tank and skirt are from two different stores, they are the exact EXACT same fabric, so I thought I'd pair them for a faux dress. I quite like this silhouette, long to longish tube skirt with a long, loose matching tunic top, feels very late 80s/early 90s to me. </p>
