"Hiding behind the fabric" was exactly the thing I was concerned about. One thing that works to this kimono's advantage is that it's quite sheer. This dress was on notice for being too body-con, but the kimono helps with that, while transitioning it for cooler days.<br />#4 Over the same dress, but tied closed for more of a kaftan look. Not sure about this one.</p> <p>I also tried the kimono on last night over a couple colors of skinnies, as well as with some pattern mixing (who knew a striped tee would look great beneath the sheer floral silk?!) It's surprising how versatile it's turning out to be.</p> </p>
