Olive green with an almost asparagus/jungle green feels fresh yet different. And I had time to snap a few photos before we left. YAY!</p> <p>The skirt is challenging to style with my other summer tops and has sat unworn in my drawer for 2-3 months. (My tops are mostly solids in burnt orange, orchid, and black; lots of color blocking happening, which doesn't suit me.) </p> <p>&nbsp;This morning I pulled out the shirt then immediately felt like the green skirt would be good with it. The skirt is nice for Old Navy. It's a rayon jersey and it's lined with a matching piece of material. I love rayon jersey, but find it shows every lump, bump, dimple, bra/panty line, etc. The lining is such a great idea. I love the ruching on the sides, too!&nbsp;</p> <p>Based on your feedback, I ended up keeping the fluid fit olive shirt. It is very comfortable and breezy to wear. AND... when paired with jeans or a skirt, it's polished casual. I'm extra careful about washing it though--handwash only. It's matching joggers shrunk an entire half to whole size after washing them on cold water delicate and air drying flat. (Not kidding; it was a shock!) Thankfully, City Chic was a champ and gave me store credit for them.&nbsp;</p> <p>I want to find a new pair of cute summer wedges. I adore the color and cage style of this pair immensely. Thing is, the wedge height is almost 4 inches. These days, my feet feel better wearing a 2-ish inch heel. For now, I wear them to church for all of an hour and then slip into squishy-soft sandals in the car. But style and color look fab with this outfit, for sure.&nbsp;</p> <p>Makeup: went pretty simple. My eyes are metallic bronze and smudged brown eyeliner, warm guava pink blush, bronzer for contour and warmth, and a bronzed berry lipgloss.&nbsp;</p> <p>Layered on my favorite bangles, and pulled out some of my favorite earrings. The earrings are heavy, so I took those off once we got home.&nbsp;</p> <p>Summer is nearly over for us, soaking up the last of it. :D&nbsp; </p>
