These are definitely the better size, not wrinkling like the first ones. What a pain you have to take the waist in. I get that issue with a sway back. What I did with my Not Your Daughter's Jeans was I sewed a piece of wide elastic inside the back waistband which fixed the gapping out. I love them with the denim jacket and LOVE that you've had that jacket so long and still fit and wear it. So great to match the sandals too.
