I didn't wear jeans tho, would have died from the heat. Made me really appreciate the practicality of wide legged crops and coulottes. Cool and breezy. I travelled with a small carry-on, and prioritized breathable fabrics and loose clothing in my selection. </p> <p>I didn't make any changes to the capsule I posted on YLF, but I didn't wear everything, either. The green dress, I discovered, had a mysterious stain upon arrival that will require dry cleaning. The skirt and dressy flats were eventually passed over in favour of jeans/trousers. My gym shoes were relegated to day wear a few times because of blister issues, where the relief from pain eclipsed my aversion to the frump effect. Apart from that, I was happy with my selection. </p> <p>As for Japanese city style, wide legs were prevalent, as were voluminous skirts with defined waists. Jeans were rare. I saw off-the-shoulders tops once or twice and no cut-outs. Stockings with sandals and heels were as common as flip flops were scarce. Oh, and no athleisure anywhere. </p>
