We've had the Polar Vortex and the kids out of school for what seems the entire month. I've popped in when I can, commented on the fly but been a bit scarce. Here's my month so far in review.<br />1. Snow Day - working from home in my new fave BFs from H&amp;M (I now see the allure of the 100% cotton), Sorel tivoli Camps and Uniqlo cashmere<br />In the cold I've found it actually easier to pair tights and skirts and tall boots for warmth at the office<br />2. Mixing Leopard and Argyle cashmere with bow blouse. Paired&nbsp;with new Paul Green Boots (divine comfort, almost black brown and a steal from the Rack)<br />3. Black and Blue: MK skirt, LL Bean blouse, Only MIne cashmere shell, J Crew BF jacket, Boden boots<br />4. Black and Bling: J Crew black jeans, Nordstrom cream cashmere, Lord &amp; Taylor piped jacket, J Crew leopard blouse and&nbsp;necklace, Zodiac patent boots<br />I decided to try a monochrome week:<br />5. Blues: Navy Uniqlo sweater, J Crew Matchsticks, Blue Calvin belt, Banana Republic super bling necklace, Fergie blue booties<br />6. Camel: Jones pants, blazer, Gap sweater, Jessica Simpson wedges<br />7. Grey: BR pattern blouse, Halogen pants, Anne Klein jacket and booties, wacky sidekick<br />8 Blue and gunmetal: BR dress, MK belt, L&amp;T blazer, Fidji G482 booties, stylish sidekick<br />9. Pearls and lace: Jones dress, Halogen cardi, giant pearl necklace, Munro boots, fun sidekick<br />10. Navy column with super bling: Boden boots, Jag jeans, Lands End Canvas sweater, BR necklace and hacking jacket - I was actually told if I had not had the necklace on I'd be boring. Hmm<br />11-12. My weekend formula - H&amp;M BF jeans and sweaters with Crown Vintage boots. I guess I've started the pastel formula</p> <p>Suggestions and comments always welcome (if you've even gotten this far) Hope you're all keeping warm (I did not show my snow shoveling outfit with 4 pairs of pants on) </p>
