Anyway, this outfit was a fairly loose interpretation: I liked the white sweater &amp; dark skirt, but I don't have any forest green in my wardrobe, so I opted for my dark grey skirt instead. And the only white knitwear I own is this three-quarter sleeve jumper. I tried to keep it simple a la the inspiration, but I was feeling a bit bored at that point, so I added polka dot tights for fun. And I'd just finished the burgundy hat the day before, so of course I needed to wear it for its first outing with the matching socks! The weather was a bit blustery, so I opted for my weather-appropriate trench as the finishing touch. I noticed on my walk in the woods that this colour is very close to how oak leaves look a few days after they've fallen; now I feel more affection than ever for it! Oh and I was afraid it'd rain, so I chose a waterproof footwear option, instead of crazy if cute&nbsp;t-strap heels a la the inspiration. My brown boots echoed the brown buttons on my skirt at least.</p> <p>In the end, I'm not terribly close to my starting point, but oh well. As usual all feedback, positive and negative, welcome! </p>
