Having met you I have 100% confidence that you will wear this with all of the necessary attitude :)</p> <p> In terms of light balancing, the dark jeans pick up on your dark hair and are enough bookending there; this would work equally well with light pants, so that your hair becomes the only dark element. Conversely, you could also wear a jacket over the crossover top to add an element of structure, I bet you get a lot of wear out of those shorts. Period. 1219976@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>:) &nbsp;I don't see a picture!&nbsp; </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-industrial-strength#post-1219972 Thu, 10 Apr 2014 22:26:01 +0000 Isabel 1219972@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>This took industrial strength guts for me to wear. &nbsp;It is sooooo out of my zone. &nbsp;I got a few looks up and down and my children commented ( they never have ). &nbsp;My son told me that my "pants" were too short and my daughter said that when I sat down my knees showed. &nbsp;( Hello, I KNOW ! &nbsp;LOL ) My daughter said that she would NEVER wear what I had on. &nbsp;But she was very supportive in saying, " If you like it, wear it. &nbsp;" &nbsp;She is 11. &nbsp;&nbsp;I need very honest opinions here as I am trying out some new looks.</p> <p>The top is a flowy crossover top with no sleeves that I went waaay out on a limb for and wore as a vest today. &nbsp;It is dark brown, tan, white and a very pretty blue. &nbsp;</p> <p>The button down shirt is a blue, small pinstripe. </p> <p>&nbsp;And the shorts...hahahaha...they are a slightly below the knew "walking" short. &nbsp;I paired them with the Frye slouchy boots that I have had for a about 4 years ( I have only worn them 3 or 4 times because of the bookending business ). &nbsp;</p> <p>The picture is at an industrial warehouse turned music and dance space. &nbsp;We were there for music lessons. &nbsp;</p> <p>OK...opinions please. &nbsp; ( Inspired by Aida and her light shoes ! )</p> <p></p> <p>ETA : &nbsp;my daughter decided to try a new look on our 80 lb lab...who is a boy. &nbsp;He is just so patient with her. &nbsp;</p>
