My husband has plans to remodel the basement eventually (it’s his office/library) but for now we are just restoring it to what we had. I miss having laundry on the premises….</p> <p>rachylou, it’s a great shacket. It was a little hard to find the right fit but worth the effort. We have a lot of milder winter days when this is good with a sweater. </p> <p>cjh and CarolS- it’s hard to see maybe, but the jacket is actually olive and kind of tan. Not black. I don’t think it will go with my red plaids but it’s a lovely idea.</p> <p>Suz and kkards - yup, when the tartans come out around the holidays in stores, I go a bit nuts. I’m a plaid lady for sure. Not even Scottish! </p> <p>Firecracker - I’m very fond of that sweater! It’s a nice low key sparkle. I’m bringing out all my festive pieces. Kind of a fake it till you make it scenario this year. </p> <p>Zaeobi - yes, the slipper are shearling. J Crew makes a version of these most years. My glasses are really too strong for me to wear out much, but maybe I will try to acclimate myself to these so I can wear them sometimes. </p>
