A nice, true greenish-olive. Plus I already had items in sage or army green, so it wasn't a huge stretch for me to add a couple of items in more of an olive. I feel that I look good in brown, but am not attracted to it except maybe as part of a pattern. As for tan, I have strong negative feelings. So olive is the way to go for me, if I want earth tones. I also don't mind burgundy, if we're counting that. That dress has some burn orange - again, okay in a pattern. <br /></div><div><br /></div><div>Thanks <b>nemosmom -&nbsp; </b>I love that jacket. It was only $100 from Amazon (I found it and told my mom to buy it for Christmas; she needs specific directions or she doesn't get what I want). I am gradually incorprating heavier knits and layers. Most of it is typically kind of dark, but I’m working in some slightly earthier colors over time. Temps are anywhere from 45-60 during the day. </p> <p>1. Fairly casual work ourfit with the turquoise jeans Angie wanted to see on me. The lighting kinda stinks, but they are turquoise/teal. </p> <p>2. Fall sweater outfit. Pretty typical of what I wore during the past year. </p> <p>3. This knit top has OLIVE stripes, and I paired with olive jeans and my brown Born boots. This is very fresh for me because I’m not an earth tone person, but I’ve been adding in olive and cream/ivory as my earthier neutrals. I like brown for shoes and bags more than clothes. Ditto tan/beige. </p> <p>4-5 - Casual outfits with my leather jacket</p> <p>6 - one of my favorite sweaters. A little preppy for my current style but I do continue to love a fun print. </p> <p>7. Trying to make sure I wear my blazers. </p> <p>8. Birthday outfit with a cameo from my husband! We were going to dinner and to see a live showing of Mystery Science Theatre 300.
