They are about a 1.75 inch heel, maybe even 2 inches. They're a sort of quasi-but-not-quite riding boot style. They are more fitted in the ankle than a true riding style boot. I think this is why they work for dresses. I don't like them as well with tucked in skinnies, something I realized too late. Fortunately, I have had plenty of chances to wear them with skirts and they are going to last me a long time; eventually I will get some flat boots for wearing with the jeans.&nbsp;</p> <p>It actually warmed up this afternoon!! It is only -12 now!!
