Maybe another time...<br />Joy, Washington DC was very close but we did not go there as we visited it before.<br />Una, I did not know you have lived in Baltimore - it must have looked very different without the Inner Harbor in its present state...<br />Amy, Claire, Lyn67, Aquamarine, El Cee, Shevia, Emily&nbsp;- thanks!<br />Catnip, our "mountain" part was in Oakland - and yes, crab was our favorite food there!<br />Beth Ann, funny you mentioned that about bright colors. When we were hiking in the mountains there I saw a sign that this is a hunting zone and recommended to wear blazing orange or other bright colors to be seen by hunters. I was glad for my bright trench then! :-)<br />Sanet, I find North America in general a pretty clean place- my native Ukraine was not great in this regard also. :-(<br />Windchime, welcome to the forum. I am glad if my WIW posts were of any use for you.<br />Janet, you are right that sometimes we are too close to home to see it properly. Maryland &nbsp;is a very beautiful place and you are lucky to live there.<br />HiggsMistress, Oyster Festival was fun.<br />Shannon, Suz and everybody else who likes my pink trench: unfortunately it got a stain on the top which I cannot remove. It is with sadness I delegate it as a gear travel now because it is waterproof and lightweight - and of course the color makes me happy.
